On August 23rd 2003 I took a trip down to the Independence trail system with Led and a bunch of his XJ friends. D and C Extreme had just developed a 4-link rear suspension to Led's 88 XJ and it needed some testing. THIS 4-Link SYSTEM IS NOWAVAILABLE ~ Contact D and C Extreme for more details.

These are the pictures of the group that ran in with us. For the first time I'll be grouping all the pictures of each vehicle, they should be in chronological order as well. Unfortunately my camera batteries died near the end of the trail, so I only have a few of the guys going up the exit.

Led's Pictures (I took the most pictures of Led's XJ, since he was the reason I was down there with them).

Here's Grant ~ I'm sorry for not having more. He was the first rig, and we were the last, so by the time we got finished with one obstacle, Grant had already finished the next one.

And then there John Jacobs. This guy makes everything look easy. Even the exit.

As luck would have it, this was the same weekend that some of the members of the Binder Bunch came down too. I didn't get a chance to photo them since I was there with Led and his group. It was too bad too, I wanted to run it with Russ (we both have similar 800s) Oh well, next time. I did get a couple pictures of Dave Kings 800 while he was coming down the water falls.
