March 1, 2002 - D and C Extreme's NEW Shop

Back when we started looking for a shop we were told to "start small" and "grow into it." So last year we opened a new 1,600 sq. ft. location in Colorado Springs. However, the growth we experienced forced us to move into a more suitable shop.

D and C Extreme is PROUD to announce that we've moved from our old location and now have a 4,400 sg.ft. Fabrication/Restoration facility in Colorado Springs. Our new address is:
D and C Extreme Ind.

January 15, 2002 - New Website COMING SOON!

We've grown a ton in the last year. Most of our growth has come from an impressive amount of website traffic. Now more than ever, people are looking at our site for innovative products, aftermarket gadgets, suspension information & pictures, and just about everything else - we reach over 200,000 hits on a regular month from over 51 different countries.

As with everything we do, we are working to keep our website current and updated. To meet our goal we quickly realized that this current website is just WAY too small for what we need. So, to fix this problem ~ we have invested a ton of time and money to design and implement a new site that will have ALL the trimmings you've been waiting for.

  • Like what? You ask. Here is a list of the things you will see on our new site:
  • Readers/Customers Rigs: Want to show your rig to everyone? Great! We'll be providing a place to do it. All we need is a couple digital pictures and the specs and we'll post it on our website! We'll also be posting pictures of some of the jobs we've done.
  • ONLINE STORE: Perhaps the biggest addition to the D and C website will be the addition of a complete online store. Now, everything you can buy at your local 4x4 shop, or on the web, will be available to you online. Of course we will be offering full online payments (Visa/MasterCard) and our own custom products as part of the store. The online store will also allow you to make a wish list (to email to friends and family for special occasions) and have a new area that our customers to check status on current and past orders.
  • New Extreme Buildups: You've all seen our "Extreme Scout Buildups" (Statistics shows that the ESB's are the biggest thing on the site.) Well, to keep a good thing going, we are going to introduce ALL NEW buildups. All completed projects (1 & 2) will be re-done with more technical and product info. Project 3 will be updated, Project 4 (already finished) will be uploaded, and a BRAND NEW Project 5 will be introduced. At least two more projects will be added as well (Snoopy, the beater buildup, and a mystery project)
  • Meet the Team: This section will introduce you to the expanding D and C Extreme team. Give you some more background on us and provide you with some pictures of our personal rigs.
  • Cheese of the Week: This feature will provide some comical education. It will showcase some of the things we've seen on rigs that is CHEESY (not good). To save face, we won't tell you who's rig it is, or where they are from. But we'll post pictures to detail what is wrong and why it doesn't work right. To keep things sporty, we'll even offer a 10% discount if the 'winner' of the "Cheese of the Week" award has us fix it. We're even working with our designer to allow you to vote on how cheesy it is!

These are just a few of the things we've been working on adding. If you have a suggestion, please bring it to our attention by sending an email to NewWebSite@DandCExtreme.com.

The new site should be up and running by mid March.

See the first beta version of the new website!
(The actual website will differ from this, but at least you get the idea of what look we are changing to.)

December 17, 2000 - Engineered Suspension Conversions

The explosive growth of the 4WD world has proved to be good to D and C Extreme Industries. In the past D and C has offered Extreme Suspension Conversions to our customers. But now, we have taken a second look at the way we build these trick suspensions.

About a month ago, D and C Extreme Ind started the full development of 4-link conversion kits. These greatly improve the finished quality of every job we do and give us the ability to offer either Coil-Over-Shock or Quarter Elliptic springs setups.

We ask for your patience as these conversion kits are developed. If you have any questions or comments, or if you would like to be put on the waiting list for these kits, please send an email to:

4-Link@DandCExtreme.com

Development and testing time will be about 6 months.

Here are some teaser pictures:
