START
EXTREME BUILDUP 2000 Project 1
RickRock's 1976 Scout II

First things first! The initial start day is little more than a test day. First thing is inspection the vehicle for obvious damage or previously broken parts. This is important because it will save us allot of time later. We also take this time to ramp test the rig - which gives us a starting point to judge the over-all results.

Today the STOCK 1976 Scout II ramped 640 frontward, (which is 64% of its wheelbase). Just look at the way that rear tire tucks far into the wheel well!

Backward is a different story for this Scout II. The bumper began to rub on the ramp which stopped our ‘lil’ Scout II at 540 (or 54% of the wheelbase).

Now that we have the starting point, lets get started!
