EXTREME BUILDUP 2000 Project 1
RickRock's 1976 Scout II
Now that we have the shocks on, it’s time to get the remote controls in place. The Rancho 9000 shocks are adjustable, and for $175 +/- you
can buy in-cab controls for them. The kit comes with a small compressor and all the necessary airlines. When connected you have a little
gauge panel with two gauges that read from 1 to 5 (5 being the firmest). To control the shocks simply press the read compressor button, this
will “pump” up your shocks with air making them stiffer, to soften them up simply press one or both of the black buttons. This will release the
air from the system and hence, soften the shocks up. Although the system is fairly basic, it’s easy to use and has very little parts to break!
Here is a good picture of the mounting place we used for the ARB rear locker switch and the Rancho 9000 control module.

That about raps up our first project. Days 9 and 10 have some pictures of the finished product!
