NEW PRODUCT - GM HEI Distributors
for IHC 345/392 V8s.

Say goodbye to the Holley GoldBox, Prestolite and point distributors....they've always been problematic and give you less than acceptable gas mileage. Why spend high dollars on Petronix, MSD, or Jacobs kits? Now you can get the reliability, gas mileage and power of a GM HEI ignition system. These systems have been produced by 'Willis' since the early 80s. Willis, like most IHC fans had been fed up with stock ignitions and engineered them for his personal IH vehicles ~ those engines run the same HEI systems today. Since that time Willis has been making the HEI ignition systems for IH, AMC and many other engine manufacturers. It wasn't till I purchased a Travellal with one of Willis' HEI units that I was convinced of the overall benifets of the unit.

My IH is a 1974 IHC Travellal, with a 392 (182K miles), TF727, NP205 T-case w/ 3.73 gears and 31x10.50 All Terrain. This vehicle is driven agressively and still got 12 mpg in the city, and 14mpg on the highway. It starts and run perfect in freezing snow (zero degrees f) as well as blistering heat (90 degress f). Power was plentiful and as long as there was gas in the carb, the engine started without hesitation (even with a dead battery).

The 5-pin distributors, are rebuilt and modified to fit a IHC 304, 345 and 392 are $350 and comes with a machined thermostat/water neck.
